1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the Unbias website (unbias.au or unbias.digital) or using our Audit Tools, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree you must cease usage immediately.
2. Nature of Services
- Automated Services: Our “Live Audit” and related AI tools are automated software services. They provide diagnostic information based on public data availability at a specific point in time.
- Consulting Services: Custom remediation or implementation services are subject to a separate Scope of Works (SOW) or Retainer Agreement.
3. User Warranties
By using our Audit Tool on a specific URL you warrant that:
- You own the URL.
- You have explicit permission from the owner to scan the URL.
- The URL is public-facing and your use of our tool does not violate the target website's Terms of Service.
You indemnify Unbias against any claims, damages or legal actions arising from your unauthorised scanning or scraping of third-party websites.
4. AI Disclaimer & Limitation of Reliability
- No Guarantee of Accuracy: You acknowledge that our services utilise Large Language Models (LLMs) and automated scripts. These technologies are experimental and prone to “hallucinations” or errors.
- Search Engine Volatility: We do not control Search Engines (Google, Bing) or Answer Engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity). We cannot guarantee that implementing our recommendations will result in improved rankings or citations.
- Professional Advice: Our reports are for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal or financial advice.
5. Intellectual Property
- Our IP: Unbias owns all rights, title and interest in the Unbias platform, the audit algorithms, the report templates and our proprietary code.
- Your Data: You retain ownership of the data you input. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use that data to provide the Service.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
- Use the Service to scrape websites at a volume that causes performance degradation to the target.
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of our Edge Functions.
- Use the Service to analyse illegal or malicious content.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unbias excludes all liability for any loss of profit, loss of data, loss of business opportunity or indirect/consequential loss arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately without notice if we believe you have breached these Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
